Counselors spend more time examining the past, looking for solutions to emotional concerns, and seeking a diagnosis required by insurance companies." Coaches focus on introspection and are action-oriented when resolving the issue. We believe in giving the clients problem-solving skills rather than specific solutions, helping them feel in control, and making their own decisions. We work with you to identify the problems they don't want to feel like someone is trying to fix or tell them what to do. They need to feel in control of their decisions and allow them to feel understood.
